Depending on the vehicle, our ST anti-sway bars have different attachment points, which allow you to take influence on the spring characteristic of the stabilizers.

Conventional Stabilizers

Conventional stabilizers in the original equipment are usually made of less strong material and therefore have a lower spring characteristic curve. This results in a higher tendency to rolling of the vehicle body and a lower handling compared to the ST anti-sway bars.

ST Anti-sway bars

With our ST stabilizers made of cold-formed heavy-duty aircraft steel, you noticeably reduce the wheel load difference between the outer and inner wheel in a curve. Basically, a stabilizer is a kind of torsion bar which is coupled to the wheel carrier via its lever arms. Due to the reduced tendency to roll and the minimized load differences between the curve outside and the curve inside wheel, you get a more direct handling when driving fast into curves or at fast load changes.

Adjustability

Mit unseren ST Stabilisatoren verringerst Du auf eine spürbare Weise die Radlastdifferenz zwischen kurvenäußerem und kurveninnerem Rad. Im Grunde ist ein Stabilisator eine Art Drehstabfeder die über ihre Hebelarme am Radträger angekoppelt sind. Durch die reduzierte Rollneigung und den minimierten Lastunterschieden zwischen kurvenäußerem und kurveninnerem Rad hast Du bei schnellen Lastwechseln und zügigen Kurvenfahrten ein direkteres Handling. Je nach Fahrzeug verfügen unsere Stabis über unterschiedliche Befestigungspunkte an den Hebelarmen, um so weiter Einfluss auf die Rollneigung nehmen zu können.

Our ST high-performance stabilizers made of cold-formed heavy-duty aircraft steel have multiple quenching and tempering and a final epoxy coating. This means they can withstand a wide range of weather conditions. For the bearings supplied, we use high-quality composite material.

Custom-made in the US

At our US subsidiary in Clovis, California, all our ST stabilizers are vehicle-specifically manufactured from heavy-duty aircraft steel on a state-of-the-art production line. Afterwards we treat the ST stabilizers at the headquarters in the Fichtenberg and by the final powder coating, they get extremely weather-resistant.
